Registration
Who can play?
Kids ages 7 to 15. Our co-ed division is open to everyone, and our girls division is for girls only.
Can girls play in the co-ed division?
Yes. Girls can choose either the co-ed or the girls division.
When is the next season?
Our spring 2027 season runs April to June 2027, with games on Sundays.
Does my child need football experience?
No. Lots of our players are trying football for the first time. Coaches teach the basics from day one.
Can siblings play on the same team?
If they're in the same division and age group, let us know when you register and we'll do our best to keep them together.
Playing
Is there any contact?
Flag football is non-contact. There's no tackling or blocking. Defenders stop the play by pulling the ball carrier's flag.
What's included with registration?
A team jersey, a flag belt and all regular season games. Confirm before launch.
Where are games played?
All games are at Heidelberg Athletic Park in NW Calgary, on Sundays.
What happens if it rains?
We play in most weather. Games stop for lightning, and any cancellations are posted in TeamLinkt.
Getting involved
Can I help coach?
Yes. Most of our coaches are parents and no experience is needed. See our coaches page.
Do you hire referees?
Yes. Referees must be 13 or older, and we provide training. See our referees page.
